Not a bad advertisement for Khas Bank, but it was dry at times. The project didn’t go deep enough into the lives of the people they interviewed. The focus on people who benefited from Khas bank as well robbed it of a lot of credibility for me. The pictures were both varied and plentiful, though and it was a look at financing development that was new to me.

I think if I had seen the film and if the title admitted to focusing on Khas Bank, I could have tempered my expectations. On its own though, the book is only ok for me.
