Across the Revolutionary Divide: Russia and the USSR, 1861-1945
Pretty good book about the Russian Revolution, or rather the Communist Revolution in Russia and the surrounding period. A solid look at a confusing time frame, I really appreciated the look at culture and school and the smaller focus Weeks gave politics. That said, it's pretty shallow and there are some dubious logic in a few points that he makes. ***spoiler alert****
